The WWSS Swim School Professional Development Hub gives both individual teachers and swim schools the advantage in through world renowned teaching practices from one of the world’s masters of swimming teaching.

Once you add your staff member to the Hub through the user friendly Manager interface they will receive instant access to the below training and resources and receive new training content on a month to month basis, as well as being invited exclusive to our members live events held from your living room, all you need is internet connection.

Great learn to swim programs should follow progressive teaching of basic learn to swim skills. If swimming teachers follow a progressive system and students are given an opportunity to master basic swimming skills efficiently, a relaxed and quality swimming stroke can be developed.
World Wide Swim School in using Laurie’s methods has broken each stroke down into basic learning components, demonstrating how to progress beginner learners into efficient swimmers.

Group teaching methods for Individual Age group skills

The group teaching modules demonstrate Laurie teaching a class of 6 parents and children. They show how to run a successful swimming class that strives for maximum practice time in the swimming lesson.
Teachers also gain tips on how to formulate a lesson plan and select swimming skills that are appropriate for the entire class. It is recommended that swimming teachers use the group teaching products in conjunction with the standard learn to swim products to gain an in-depth understanding of all the skills that are appropriate during each age group.
